How we’re funded.
A commercial relationship should be visible where you make a decision, and separate from the evidence behind that decision.
Some links may earn us a commission when an approved affiliate relationship is disclosed. Commercial relationships never determine our recommendations.
The current link status
The current catalog has no active approved affiliate links. The vendor links in our launch profiles are ordinary links. Finding a public affiliate program during research does not mean ToolClue has joined it or receives a commission.
We may activate affiliate links after a vendor or network approves our participation. When you follow such a link and complete a qualifying purchase, the vendor may pay us. The terms and attribution rules vary by program; we do not promise a discount or a particular final price.
How you will recognize a paid relationship
An active affiliate relationship must be disclosed near the relevant recommendation or vendor link in plain language. A general policy page is additional context, not a substitute for that notice. Paid links are marked for search engines as sponsored.
If we accept payment for a placement or receive material free access for an evaluation, the relevant content must say so. A sponsored placement must be identifiable as such and must not be presented as an independent performance result.
What a commission cannot buy
A vendor cannot purchase a research-checked or tested label, a favorable verdict, removal of a documented limitation or priority in the tool finder. Affiliate payout is not part of the finder’s matching rules.
A useful comparison may include products with no public affiliate program. Our task is to explain the choice, including reasons a reader should use an alternative or stay with a tool already included in their current platform.
Your purchase is with the vendor
Vendors control their prices, trials, renewals, cancellations, support and refund terms. Check those terms directly before buying. A saved tool or an outbound click on ToolClue does not create a purchase or subscription.
Tell us if a link or disclosure is unclear. We will review the page and update it where necessary.
