Keep the record useful.
Changed prices, missing restrictions and unclear claims are worth fixing. A precise source helps us review them.
What to send
Use the contact form’s correction option and identify the page and the specific claim. Include a current official pricing, documentation or terms URL and explain what changed. If a detail is visible only inside an account, describe the plan, region and date so we can understand its scope.
- The ToolClue page URL or tool name.
- The statement that is wrong, outdated or incomplete.
- An official source and the date you observed the change.
- Relevant plan, billing cycle, region or integration details.
How we review a correction
A submission goes to editorial review; it does not immediately change a published page. We compare it with current sources and may seek more detail. Material errors in pricing, plan access, integration behavior or availability receive priority.
If evidence is incomplete or conflicting, the appropriate result may be an uncertainty note rather than a definitive yes or no. A research date changes when the source is rechecked. Sending a correction does not guarantee publication or a particular response time.
Different opinions and commercial requests
A vendor may disagree with an editorial interpretation without identifying a factual error. We will consider the evidence and the merchant’s use case, while retaining responsibility for the wording and conclusion.
Requests to pay for a favorable change, hide a documented limitation or activate an unapproved affiliate link do not qualify as factual corrections. A tool suggestion follows the same evidence requirements as any other listing.
Protect private information
Do not send account passwords, API keys, payment details, customer conversations or order records. Public documentation is usually enough. If a screenshot is needed later, remove private details first.
Contact information is used to review and respond to the submission, not to add you to the newsletter. The privacy policy explains storage and retention.
