Start with a brief and assets you can use
Define one product, audience, message and call to action. Gather the current product URL, approved product photographs, logo, brand rules and evidence for any claim in the script. Choose the destination format before generating. This is a proposed production workflow based on documentation, not a ToolClue campaign test.
The intended output is an approved export package with the source files, script and review record. A generated video is a draft. It does not establish that a claim is accurate, that an ad will be accepted or that a campaign will perform.
1. Decide how much generation you need
If you already have suitable footage and only need trimming, captions or resizing, check whether your existing editor can finish the job. Reserve generation for missing assets or a production task that your current workflow cannot handle efficiently.
Creatify documents a product-URL route to video-ad creation. Pencil documents a workspace with an editor, agents and repeatable workflows. Choose the simpler route for a single creative; a structured workflow is more useful when the same brief-to-export sequence repeats. Verify access to the required features in the plan you are evaluating.
2. Approve the script before producing variants
Draft the hook, product explanation and call to action as separate lines. Match every factual claim to the approved product information. Remove invented testimonials, unsupported outcomes and prices or offers that no longer apply.
Read the script aloud and decide which parts require a product close-up, a demonstration or on-screen text. Set an explicit review checkpoint here. Generating many polished versions of an incorrect script makes the correction more expensive.
3. Generate a small, traceable set
Create a small set that changes one variable, such as the opening hook, while keeping the product and offer consistent. Record the input assets, model or template when available, plan, settings, generated files and charged units. Preserve failed attempts.
In a repeatable agent workflow, put script approval before expensive image or video generation. Pencil documents ordered nodes with inspectable intermediate outputs. Inspect those intermediate outputs when a later result is wrong rather than regenerating the entire chain without identifying the cause.
4. Review picture, sound and claims
Watch each export with sound and then with sound muted. Read captions at the size they will appear on a phone. Check the first frame, final frame and transitions as well as the attractive middle section.
- The product, packaging and variants match the actual item.
- Speech, captions and on-screen copy agree.
- Price, offer, landing page and call to action are current.
- Required usage rights cover the source assets, voice, music and final output.
- The crop, duration and text placement suit the destination.
- The named reviewer approves the final exported file, not just the preview.
5. Export an approval package
Use filenames that identify the product, hook, format and version. Save the approved script, export settings and any relevant licensing or plan conditions with the final files. Keep generation access, download allowance and commercial-use conditions as separate checks.
An export or ad-platform connection does not mean the tool has permission to launch a campaign. Have the campaign owner confirm the destination, budget and publication settings in the advertising platform. Inspect the final ad and landing page after publication.
Measure production and advertising separately
For production, count accepted exports, discarded variants, review minutes and actual generation/download charges. Allocate subscription spend using an explicit assumption and keep that assumption visible. This tells you what it cost to produce usable assets.
For advertising, evaluate campaign results using the advertising platform and a planned comparison. Do not use a generation count, vendor prediction or polished appearance as evidence of return on ad spend. When production steps repeat successfully, document them as a reusable workflow and recheck them after plan or model changes.
