The editorial view

Is it right
for your store?

Fit matters more than a feature count.

Consider Brandwise when ad comments and customer support compete for the same team’s attention. Test moderation rules on real campaign traffic and review AI drafts before expanding automation. Compare Manychat for lead campaigns and Gorgias or Richpanel for a broader helpdesk evaluation.

A good fit for

  • Shopify brands handling product questions across social and support channels
  • Teams moderating spam and managing replies on social ads and organic posts
  • Merchants willing to maintain brand knowledge and review uncertain answers

Look carefully if

  • Planning and publishing a social content calendar
  • Expecting identical DM and comment support on every connected network
  • Assuming a monthly credit allowance equals that many resolved customer cases

Manage comments, DMs, support email and website chat in a shared inbox. Brandwise uses a brand knowledge base for AI replies, moderates social comments and connects Shopify customer and order information to support conversations.

Documented strengths

  • Combines social conversations, support email and website chat
  • Moderation rules can be configured for each connected page
  • A native Shopify app brings order context into the support inbox
  • Low-confidence AI replies can become drafts assigned to a teammate

Connections

Where it
fits in.

Check the connection your workflow needs.

Native integration

Shopify

Install the official app and grant the needed permissions. Order and customer details appear beside support conversations; DM contacts can be linked to Shopify customers.

Native integration

Instagram

Comments and DMs. The connection guide requires a Professional account linked to a Facebook Page and the appropriate access permissions.

Native integration

Facebook

Page comments and DMs. Full Page admin access is required; reading ad comments also depends on access to the ad account.

Native integration

TikTok

The current connection guide documents comments on videos. TikTok DMs were not confirmed in that guide.

Native integration

YouTube

Comments on videos and Shorts. New comments may arrive after a delay; older history is not imported.

Native integration

WhatsApp

Connect a WhatsApp Business number for DMs using the vendor’s channel setup flow.

Native integration

Custom storefront

Install the website chat widget to collect conversations. This does not establish a native order-data connection for a non-Shopify store.

Browser-based tools can support a Shopify workflow without a native Shopify integration. Connection methods reflect the documented workflow.

Before you commit

The details
that matter.

Limits are part of choosing well.

  • The current channel guide lists Instagram and Facebook comments and DMs, TikTok and YouTube comments, and WhatsApp Business DMs. It does not establish TikTok DM support.

  • AI moderation uses a credit for each checked comment; generated replies, including drafts, also use credits. Credits reset monthly without rollover. AI work pauses at zero even though messages still arrive.

  • Facebook and Instagram historical-comment imports use a separate Comment Sync workflow and charges or credits. TikTok and YouTube history cannot be imported through it.

  • Shopify order actions are documented in connected email conversations. Linking a DM to an order does not establish that every refund or cancellation can run autonomously across every channel.

  • Moderation can hide legitimate criticism and AI answers can be wrong. Review hidden comments and configure low-confidence drafts or teammate assignment around your store policies.
